£800.00 + VAT (@ 20%=£160) total cost £960 + disbursements (see charges below)
Properties with a value of between £200,000.00 & £300,000.00 £900 + VAT (@20% £180.00) total cost £1,080 + disbursements (see below)
Properties with a value over £300,000.00 - 500,000 £1,200+ VAT @ 20% = £240 total cost £1,440+ disbursements (see below)
Properties with a value over £500,000.00
A tailored quote would be provided upon application including VAT at 20% + disbursements.
Further charges which will be incurred on a sale of a property will be:
Land registry office copy of the title and plan £6.00 + VAT @ 20% = £1.20 total cost £7.20
Bank charge fee £30.00 + VAT @ 20% = £6.00 total cost £36.00
Storage fee of Deeds (if required and not legally necessary) £15.00 + VAT @ 20% = £3.00 total cost £18.00
Lorna Connor’s hourly rate is £225.00 + VAT per hour.
Where less than one hour is involved time is recorded as a unit of 6 minutes, £22.50 per unit + VAT @ 20% = £4.50 total cost per unit £27.00.
Lorna Connor does not usually charge an hourly rate as a fixed fee will be given as detailed below except in exceptional circumstances where an estimate of time likely to be recorded will be provided in writing.

Local authority charges (required by lenders and advised to all purchasers without mortgages) Dependent upon local authority, local authority searches cost approximatley £200.00 inclusive of vat

Land Registry OS1 priority search to protect your position during registration of the title £3.00 + VAT @ 20% = £0.60 total cost £3.60
Leasehold fee (if the property is a leasehold title) £50.00 + VAT @ 20% = £10.00 total cost £60.00
HMLR land registry fees are the fee at the prevalent time set out b the UK Government.
All property transactions are attempted to be completed within six to ten weeks from instruction to completion. Should it be that it is likely to be delayed the clients will be informed in advance in writing in accordance with our terms and conditions contained within our client care letters. With regard to registration of the title this can take up to six to twelve months to register a registered estate and six to eight months for first registration applications.
